Welcome to Bar Shirt Awards 2009 - What it is all about
To make a long story short - it started in a Gin soaked night at Le Lion. Facebook did the rest.
After I decided, lets say because of a "(s)light" overweight, that I am not the one who should wear a T-Shirt, I did what you normally do, when you are only able to prepare horrible drinks and enter a cocktail competion ... you try to get in the jury. So Me and Mario just decided to "Found" the Bar Shirt Award - to make sure that we are in the jury. (Clever guys - aren't we?)
So whats it all about: Bar Covent Berlin, the coolest Bar Show on Earth, is going to start very soon. Therefore I like to Announce:

The Jury
Currently it is Mario Kappes, Marcel Baumann, Jörg Meyer, Angus Winchester, Xavier Padovani and John Gakuru. More Judges may follow soon.
THE COMPETITION:
- Competition will start 4th of October 6.00 pm and will end 7th October 6.00 am.
- The Judges will photograph Bar Shirts at BCB during the day and all over Berlin at Night.
- Shirts must be worn to be considered
- All photos will be uploaded asap to this Photo Page.
- The Nominees (Best of) of all categories will be announced on 8th of October.
- The Winners will be announced at 15th of October
- The Competition will be unequable.
- All judgments are final
- Judges are corrupt.
- Legal recourses of any kind are impossible.
THE PRIZES
* 20 Gin Basil Smash: Good Think: You can, but you don't have to drink them at Le Lion. You also can bring/send us receipts from Bars all over the World. We will pay cash at Le Lion or during bank transfer to German account. International payment ONLY via Paypal. The receipts MUST have the Text GIN BASIL SMASH on it. Other are not excepted. Maximum Value per Drink we refund is value of 20,00 €. The prize can only be DRUNK - no payout in cash!
